What is PDKS?
PDKS — short for Personel Devam Kontrol Sistemi, Türkiye's term for a time & attendance system — records employees' clock-in and clock-out times and produces timesheets from those records. The goal is simple: who came, on which day, at what time — known from records, not claims.
What does it solve?

When clock-ins rest on records, the "I was here" debate closes; the recorded time speaks, not the sheet.

Under KVKK (Türkiye's data protection law), fingerprints and face recognition are special-category personal data; using them for attendance carries heavy obligations. Biometrics are not required: QR plus location verification keeps records without collecting any biometric data. That is how Pepteam works.

- Is PDKS the same as a timesheet?
- Related but distinct: PDKS records the clock events; the timesheet is the period chart produced from them. A good system produces it automatically.
- Are fingerprints or face recognition required?
- No. Biometric data is special-category under KVKK and carries heavy obligations; QR plus location verification keeps records with no biometrics at all.
- Is the employee's location tracked all day?
- No — in a properly built mobile system, location is checked only at the moment of clock-in/out, against the defined site.
- Is switching from cards to mobile hard?
- With no hardware to install, the switch is mostly a habit change: install the app, join with an invite code; card-era records stay in your payroll archive.
